This Privacy Policy describes how Paintworkz PTY LTD ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with PaintWorkz Pro ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication). We do not collect your name unless you provide it in your company settings within the App.

Job & Business Data

The App stores job measurements, client details, paint formulas, pricing data, and other business information you enter. This data is stored in Firebase Firestore, associated with your account, and is accessible only to you.

Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). We do not store your credit card details. Paddle's privacy policy applies to payment processing: paddle.com/legal/privacy

Usage Data

We may collect basic anonymous usage data (such as error logs) to improve the App. This data is not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to provide and improve the App. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your job or client data for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase infrastructure (Australia Southeast region where available). Firebase uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is controlled by Firebase Security Rules that ensure each user can only access their own data.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by submitting a request via this page.

5. Your Rights (Australian Privacy Act)

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, email support@paintworkzpro.com.au.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

The App uses browser localStorage to maintain your session and app preferences. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services: Google Firebase (authentication and data storage), Paddle (payment processing). Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
