This Privacy Policy describes how Paintworkz PTY LTD ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with PaintWorkz Pro ("the App").
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication). We do not collect your name unless you provide it in your company settings within the App.
The App stores job measurements, client details, paint formulas, pricing data, and other business information you enter. This data is stored in Firebase Firestore, associated with your account, and is accessible only to you.
Subscription payments are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). We do not store your credit card details. Paddle's privacy policy applies to payment processing: paddle.com/legal/privacy
We may collect basic anonymous usage data (such as error logs) to improve the App. This data is not linked to your identity.
We use your data solely to provide and improve the App. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your job or client data for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase infrastructure (Australia Southeast region where available). Firebase uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is controlled by Firebase Security Rules that ensure each user can only access their own data.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@paintworkz.com.au.
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal information. Contact us at support@paintworkz.com.au to exercise these rights.
The App uses minimal browser storage (localStorage) to maintain your session and app preferences. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

By using PaintWorkz Pro you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
PaintWorkz Pro is a web-based job management application for painting contractors, provided by Paintworkz PTY LTD (ABN 53 688 456 313). The App is accessible at paintworkz.github.io/PaintWorkz-App/.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others.
Pro features require a paid subscription, billed monthly ($79 AUD) or annually ($759 AUD). Subscriptions are managed and billed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record. By subscribing you also agree to Paddle's terms of service. Subscription fees are charged in advance. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Monthly subscriptions: refund requests within 7 days of initial purchase will be considered. Annual subscriptions: refund requests within 14 days of initial purchase will be considered. No refunds are issued for partial periods after these windows. Contact support@paintworkz.com.au for refund requests.
You may use PaintWorkz Pro for legitimate business purposes only. You must not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the software. You must not use the App in any way that violates applicable laws.
You retain ownership of all job and business data you enter into the App. We do not claim any rights to your data. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important business records.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. PaintWorkz Pro is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability for any claim arising from use of the App is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be notified via the App or email.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in Queensland courts.
